I went home this weekend and had a fabulous time. I went for two big events, first we had a high school friend reunion. GO GIRLS OF 2002! It was divine getting together with so many of them, it's hard as you move away from home and go separate ways to keep up with everyone as they do the same. We had a rather large friend group and I am sad a few girls couldn't make it....we missed you guys! We had a little slide show of pictures showing what has happened since we graduated 7 years ago and we all took turns catching everyone up on our individual details. Then my good friends Brian and Jessica married each other, so we couldn't miss that. It's always strange when good friends end up together it's hard to imagine but they seem very much in love. I also had the chance to swing by and visit my darling friend Justin and his cute family! I ended the weekend with a frantic phone call to my husband. I was going down I15 during a monsoon when my windshield wiper busted and the metal wiper was scratching my windshield. I burst into tears and had to pull off the freeway. I was soaking wet, had to put my flashers on and get off the road. I sat in my car balling because I couldn't figure out how to get the new wipers on. I miss my husband! I am going to forget that it happened and just remember the wonderful weekend I had with my wonderful Vernal friends. Here are some pictures of the whole weekend...
Oh my gosh, Erik and I were driving from Boise back to Portland today and we drove through the crazy monsoon, too!!! I've NEVER driven through rain that bad...I was totally freaking out, too. I can TOTALLY sympathize!! Hope you managed to get those wipers fixed and glad you made it home okay!
